Aamir Khan, the founder of Paani Foundation, today publicized the second version of Satyamev Jayate Water Cup.
Pune: Paani Foundation, founded by the Bollywood hero Aamir Khan, now publicized the second version of Satyamev Jayate Water Cup, with an intention to spread the watershed management program to 30 tehsils in the state of Maharashtra.
In its 1st edition, the water conservative enterprise under Satyamev Jayate Water Cup had been executed in around three tehsils.

The Cup is an opposition amid diverse villages to perceive who can do the supreme work for water conservation and watershed management in the period of the race. The rivalry period of the 1st edition of the Cup was in the middle of 20 April and 5 June 2016.
Based on the views of the foundation, 116 villages had taken part in the rivalry to make their parishes water-sufficient and complete water storage formed by the challenging villages was 13,68,000 liters of water.
Aamir Khan said “The 1st version of water cup was a pilot venture and with its accomplishment, we currently want to spread the watershed management program to 30 additional talukas in the state of Maharashtra to mark the villages water-sufficient with publics’ contribution.”
The hero, together with company’s CEO, Satyajit Bhatkal, here to show complete plan for the second version of the Cup and interrelated with 700 helpers of Bhartiya Jain Sanghtana (BJS), a city-based business.
BJS has concluded to join the water conservative enterprise of Paani Foundation.
“As, we are mounting up our battle contrary to drought in the second version with a goal to take the enterprise to 30 tehsils, it will be a test for us as we need to upsurge our proficiency. We need to scale up on our preparation facilities so that the superiority of familiarity remains the same,” the hero said.
Plunging for public contribution to make the public drought free, Aamir said that if people governs and gets unified, 100 percent water will be protected.
