Guntur: The AP government is all set to inaugurate the newly-constructed temporary building of the AP Assembly temporary at Velagapudi at the auspicious time of 11.25 am on March 2nd. YSRC YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to shift to Amaravati by March 3rd. YSRC leaders have been searching for a house for the party president, who has preferred one of three sites — Undavalli, Penumaka or near to Vijayawada-Chennai National Highway.
While the AP Assembly Budget sessions will start on March 6 and the Budget would be introduced by March 13. Mr Jagan Reddy, in the recent visit to Amaravati, announced that he will reside in the new capital after purchasing a house there and would continue the work from here.
Meanwhile, the TDP leaders and cadres were deriding the YSRC president as a “visiting leader” due to his long stay at Hyderabad. YSRC sources said that after the Secretariat, government departments and Assembly shifted to Amaravati from Hyderabad, Mr Reddy’s staying put in Hyderabad would give the wrong impression on him. That’s why he decided to shift before the starting of Budget Sessions on March 3rd.
YSRC Mangalagiri MLA A. Ramakrishna Reddy shifted recently into an apartment at Sree Ram Arch at Undavalli on the way to the new capital. CM N. Chandrababu Naidu stays at Undavalli, which will be easily accessible from Vijayawada railway station and airport.
Sources said that as Mr Jagan Reddy will also travels to Hyderabad and Bengaluru any how, Undavalli would be the best place to stay. YSRC leaders have primarily viewed three houses, including one big apartment and informed that he would take a final decision about shifting to a house or an apartment.
