YouTube Go available in Playstore

Google’s YouTube has released the beta version of YouTube Go app which allows the users to view and share the videos in offline.

Google’s YouTube has released the new YouTube Go app for the users of Android in India. The YouTube Go app was firstly announced in the last September and the company has taken the time to make the app available for the users after all the testing and refinement.

The main purpose of the app is it allows the users to share and view the videos in offline and mainly aimed the users who have concerns over the data usage. The app is available in eight different languages Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Gujarati.

YouTube Go video sharing

The users can save the videos for offline viewing or they can stream it now. It asks the users to choose the data usage that the user wants to spend on a particular video.The users can share the videos with family and friends with YouTube Go application.

Features of YouTube Go app:

• The Home page of YouTube Go app is just similar to the regular YouTube where it displays the trending videos, recommendations, channels and the subscriptions.
• Users can preview their videos before watching them or saving offline by tapping on a Thumbnail option which helps the user to decide whether the videos is worthy with your data or not.
• It also allows the users to choose the resolution for the videos that the users are watching and the maximum resolution for a video is 640p and it prompt the users to choose on what amount of data he wants to spend on a particular video.
• This was the most Interesting feature of the YouTube Go app which allows the users to share the videos with friends and family without any data usage. In order to share the videos the users need to turn on their Bluetooth’s to find their friends and the app depends on Wi-Fi direct for the data transfer. Both the sender and receiver must have YouTube Go app to share the videos.

A beta version of the app was released and it is available in the Google Play Store India and will be roled out with the final release sooner.
