Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) flagship venture ‘Digithon’ has accomplished one more milestone of making the temple town Yadadri as the ‘First Cashless temple town in ‘Telangana State’ by allowing 815 traders near the temple for cashless trades.
“This exceptional advantage of making the whole temple town cashless is first accepted by TITA with the provision of Aler MLA and Government Thrash Gongidi Sunita, below the banner of ‘Digithon Cashless Yadadri’. The objective of this task is to convey Digital Financial Literacy to the dealers in Yadadri with the assistance of 100 Digithon Digital Leaders. Digital Leaders, who trekked all the way from Hyderabad alerted, taught and on lodged all the Auto Drivers, Prasadam Counters, Coconut Merchants and so on for cashless transactions in Yadadri” said TITA president Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
Travelling in Cashless Auto Rikshaw, Gongidi Sunita had said, “Lack of awareness of digital financial literateness, particularly amid merchants in rural areas, is a main challenge in the nation, more so in light of the Centre’s current demonetization and plans to make India a cashless frugality. Currently, Devotees can feel comfort to pay the cash using the cashless transaction for roving in Auto, buying coconuts, prasadam and so on in Yadadri.
Collector of Yadadri, Anita Ramachandran bought coconuts using cashless transaction over SBI Buddy, said, it was contented to contribute in historic event and esteemed TITA for taking the exceptional initiative.
