IMD said that the trend would continue until the northeasterly winds remain predominant over the state of Telangana.
Nights have become warmer in the state and the mercury has risen from 5º Celsius below normal to 2ºC above the mark in Telangana. Lowest minimum temperature of 13ºC was recorded at Adilabad on Sunday as per the report. Nizamabad and Bhadrachalam and minimum temperatures were above normal, at 18ºC and 16ºC respectively as said by officials.
Here one more thing is, at most of the places, the maximum temperatures were up to 3º Celsius above usual. Highest maximum temperature was recorded at 33ºC in Mahbubnagar and the IMD said that the trend would continue until the northeasterly winds remain predominant over the state as per the report.
Here, fall in infections occurs when northerly and northwesterly winds dominate over the state as they bring cold air from the north which results in a reduction in minimum temperatures in the state.
