Winner movie’s first day collections are the premiere ever for the young actor Sai Dharam Tej.
The movie, which was directed by Gopichand Malineni and bankrolled by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalupu Srinivas had collected about Rs 6.4 crore internationally on its first day, creating it the third highest openings movie this year, later Khaidi No.150 and Gautamiputra Sathakarni.
The expectations for the movie were mixed, but its commercial essentials attracted the crowds. The trade forecasters predict that the movie’s collections are going to endure to be good even through the coming weekend, particularly as there is no other movie scheduled for release.
In Nizam, the largest territory for any movie, Sai Dharam Tej got a share of about Rs 1.67 crore, which is good for an actor like him on the initial day.
The picture features Sai Dharam Tej, Rakul Preet Singh in main roles, whereas Jagapati Babu, Thakur Anoop Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Ali and Vennela Kishore in vital roles. The music was composed by SS Thaman. The cinematography was done by Chota K. Naidu and editing part was done by Prawin Pudi. In recent times, Winner Movie Censored and it has been awarded U/A certificate without any cuts.
On the whole, Winner movie is a typical commercial mass entertainer which has some good instants throughout the first half. A very good plot is thinned after half time by some under average execution. It will be very exciting to see how this movie performs throughout this crunch exam period. There is nothing innovative that you have not seen before in Winner but Sai Dharam Tej’s standout presentation and few good comedy scenes make this movie an okay watch this month.
