Rajamouli, who usually appears so calm and quiet got upset that he has been misrepresented in his interview with director Krish Jagarlamudi.
S.S. Rajamouli, who generally appears to be so calm and quiet, is distressed that he has been misrepresented in his interview with the director Krish Jagarlamudi. The director really liked the movie Gautamiputra Satakarni and had spoken highly regarding the movie. He even decided to do an interview with the director Krish for television channels. And once Krish’s team enquired him if they could use the interview with other broadcasting people, Rajamouli approved.
Yet, a Telugu newspaper had published the interview as though Rajamouli had inscribed a letter to Krish to say his appreciation for the movie. This annoyed the director as several people on social media told him that his letter to Krish was not virtuous for his figure. It was then that he realized that a letter was printed in his name. He got very irritated with Krish’s crew and clarified what had really occurred.
“When I was requested to do a talk with Krish, I pleased since I liked GPSK and sincerely appreciated it. I was requested whether they can use the extracts of the interview for the print mass media and I approved. But I was amazed to see that it was printed as if I had written a letter. Though the content is from the interview, the mode it was expressed is a bit melodramatic. I inquired Krish and hang on for an explanation from his crew, but it didn’t come over. My assessment towards the movie, Krish and his crew hasn’t changed. I wish the movie collects, even more, paving way for more historical… Just that the letters are not inscribed by me… (sic),” wrote Rajamouli on Twitter.
