Two boys were feared drowned in the sea at the R.K. Beach.
Visakhapatnam: The swimming in blue water amidst the joy turned tragic for a group of friends who had gone for a swim at the RK Beach here on Friday evening. Two of them went missing & are feared to have drowned while one swam to the safety. The missing children were identified as M. Aditya and K. Santhosh, both are of Class-IX students and aged was around 14-years the residents of Subhashnagar.

Inspector of Three-Town Police Station, B. Venkata Rao said that four friends from the Subhashnagar came to the RK Beach. Of the four, three — Aditya, Santhosh & Chaitanya — ventured into the waters. While they were swimming in the waters, they were caught in the strong current which took them deep into the sea. While Chaitanya was rescued by the community guard V. Yellaji, his friends feared drowned.
Ironically, even as a search for the bodies continued, visitors continued to play in the water ignoring the grave danger. The bodies were not found till late evening. Unconfirmed sources said that four boys went to the beach early in the morning. The rescued boy said that he saw his friends who were fled in the sea.
The police have launched search operations to trace both of the missing children. As per the reports, Aditya is a student of Pen School at the Akkayyapalem branch & Santhosh is the student of St.Ann’s school at Butchirajupalem.
