Guntur: Telugu Desam Party leaders tried to scald the effigies of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and eight more leaders naming them Narakasuras traumatizing Andhra Pradesh, on the instance of Diwali in Guntur district on this Wednesday night. Yet, the police had entered the scene and hindered the bid of Narakasura vadha.

The Telugu Desam leaders and activists set a big cutout of Mr. Jagan, having the photos of 8 other YSRC leaders attached on both sides of his skull at Donka Road.
The photographs comprised the faces of YSRC leaders Ambati Rambabu, R.K. Roja, Kodali Nani, V. Vijayasai Reddy, Y.V. Subba Reddy, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.

Finding no other choice, the police compellingly snatched away the effigy and left the area. Later, the TD cadre burst crackers and aerated slogans contrary to Mr.Jagan and other YSRC leaders.
