Hyderabad: To back Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s countrywide campaign, ‘Rally for Rivers’, inhabitants of the city are advised to wear blue coloured clothes on 1st September. A gathering also will be the lead in the city. People are counseled to wear the blue colour in offices, schools, colleges, and other open places. To save rivers and to fetch more consciousness about them, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the founder of the Isha Foundation, has hurled the countrywide campaign in association with the Union ministry of environment and climate affairs.
The Sadhguru will prime the movement by driving a four-wheeler, going about 16 states. The guru’s route will start from Kanyakumari and will go through the Himalayas, straddling 7,000 km. The movement will begin on 3rd September 2017. The Sadhguru will come to Amravati on 13th September and will come to Hyderabad on 14th September. The movement will close in Delhi on 2nd October. “Lakhs of people, participating Rally for Rivers. Placards, T-shirts, headgears, and stickers will stance for 3 hours from 8 am to 11 am,” stated that Shailaja Kumar, a helper of the Isha Foundation.
She said, “As a part of the campaign, individuals can send a missed call on 8000980009. Every single call will be taken as a support for revitalizing rivers. A rally will commence from LB Nagar at 8.30 am and will close at Gachibowli at 10 am on 1st September.” Pradad Atmakur, a helper from the foundation, stated, “We are operational with panchayats in AP and TS to take the movement to villages.” A proficient committee, including environmental scientists and lawmakers, are mending together a draft policy to save rivers and their streams in the nation.
