A Bus in Telangana had caught fire and over 30 passangers had narrow escape
Over 30 passengers had a narrow escape in a Bus in Telengana on Tuesday when a luxury bus caught fire due to a short circuit. Visuals has been seen in the bus in flames by the side of the road almost around 50 km from Hyderabad as a thick black smoke rising from it.The incident took place yesterday afternoon in Alair.
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation bus was travelling from Warangal to Hyderabad when the driver noticed a spark in the engine. He immediately stopped the bus and asked all passengers to get off the vehicle. Within few moments, the bus was completely exhausted.
Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy has ordered for inquiry on the incident. He has asked for a detailed report from transport officials and also asserted that such incidents should not recur.
Around 70 passengers in Uttar Pradesh, Last Week, mostly migrant workers, survived in an almost identical incident while travelling in a double-decker bus.
The bus when it is on the way to Bahraich where its double battery caught fire due to short-circuit. The driver banged the brakes and had everyone in the crowded bus jump off.
A bus burning also took place in Madhya Pradesh, In December. A low-floor air-conditioned bus travelling to Bairagarh form Bhopal caught fire when its diesel pipe burst. A passenger had noticed the diesel leaking form the tank and informed.The bus burnt for nearly half an hour before emergency teams arrived.
