Telangana CM KCR says we will make 1,000 more appointments over these vacancies but not less, says CM.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday stated that the government would fill 1.12 lakh vacancies in numerous departments before its term ends in 2019 as assured. No one needs to doubt the TRS government’s assurance on this, he told the Assembly.
Talking through the Question Hour, Mr. Rao stated, “The state has almost four lakh sanctioned positions, of which almost 1.12 lakh are vacant due to departures and making of new posts. We cannot hire as per our quirks and fancies. We wish to follow the process, which takes time.”
Stating that the government was dedicated to filling the opportunities, he said, “We will make 1,000 more appointments over these jobs but not less.”
Rammohan Reddy, Congress MLA said UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had allowed statehood for Telangana with the optimism that students, some of whom had forfeited their lives through the agitation, would employ in their own state but the TRS government had botched in giving jobs. S.A. Sampath Kumar, Congress MLA had alleged that TSPSC was resorting to anomalies in the recruitment procedure. Mr. Rao strongly destined these allegations and esteemed TSPSC chairman Ghanta Chakrapani for carrying major reforms in the recruitment procedure.
