Revanth Reddy had met Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi a few days back and rumors are circling that he is going to join Congress soon
Variances within the TDP Telangana State unit that raised after the different views expressed by leaders over the probable alliances in the coming elections seems to have reached a climax with the party leadership conclusive to strip its operational president and legislature party leader A. Revanth Reddy of his identical posts for violating the party discipline.
TDP Telangana State president L. Ramana stated that the decision to strip Mr. Revanth Reddy of his current posts was taken after a conversation with party president and Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
The action trails mounting pressure on the party management to suspend/expel Mr. Revanth Reddy for cosseting in “anti-party actions” like meeting Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi without gaining prior consent from the party.
Party comes first: Naidu
Rendering to sources, Mr. Naidu stated that he would not come in the way of the Telangana leadership’s verdict to remove Mr. Revanth Reddy from his organizational positions if it was taken in the benefits of the party.
Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu wanted Mr. Revanth to join the legislature party gathering as a TDP-TS MLA and heading for the leadership to spread an invitation to this consequence to him, leaving the party leaders on the two sides confused.
Mr. Ramana is also learned to have warned the party leaders contrary to attending the legislature party gathering convened by Mr. Revanth Reddy in the legislative Assembly places on Thursday. Mr. Revanth had assembled the meeting to discuss the policy the party should accept in the forthcoming session of the legislature beginning October 27 and asked senior leaders, counting former Ministers and MLAs, to the conference.
The TDP-TS president Revanth had convened a separate conference of the legislature party in a star hotel the similar day and directed the leaders to join the meeting.
Party leaders are waiting eagerly for Mr. Revanth Reddy’s response to the invitation stretched to him to join the legislature party meeting as party MLA also as sources close to Mr. Revanth Reddy stated communication regarding sacking Mr. Revanth Reddy from his posts or the invite to attend the gathering of the legislature party was, however, to be received.
Mr. Revanth Reddy, rendering to sources, had allegedly decided to chart out his sequence of action after meeting Mr. Naidu who is predictable to return from his trip abroad in a day or two.
