Tata Motors will present the Tiago-based compact sedan, the Tata Tigor, in the Indian market on 29th March of 2017. The future sedan has already been marked testing after the Indian automaker presented its sketch in the month of February this year.
The Tigor is certainly one of the utmost anticipated cars to make its mode to Tata stores. Tata Motors has labeled the Tigor as a Style back. Resembling the Tiago, which has been a triumph for the company, the Tigor will bring Tata Motor’s new Impact design language. Yet, resemblances amid the two cars will run much more profound than just the external looks.
Panned to create a new section in the industry, the Tigor will share the maximum of its reinforcements with the Tiago. That depicts it will be given with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine (85PS/114Nm) and 1.05-litre diesel motor (70PS/140Nm). Both the car engines will come combined with a five-speed manual diffusion and, like the newly launched Tiago AMT, the Tigor is also predictable to get a variation with automated manual transmission.
On the internal side, it is probable to be just as the feature-rich product as the Tiago. The kit list comprises ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with 8 speaker sound system, GPS navigation support through Navi Maps, air-conditioned glovebox, dual-tone interior upholstery, two drive modes (Eco and City), ABS with EBD, dual airbags, and corner stability control. Charges for the Tigor are predictable to start about Rs 4.5 lakh and it is probable to overlap a pair of top-end variations of the hatchback it is based on.
