Tapsee Pannu is looking onward to working with Varun Dhawan on this project.
The highly talented actress, Taapsee Pannu who wowed us this year with her extremely reminiscent performance in Pink is all made to let her hair down with an energetic, frothy comedy, David Dhawan’s movie Judwaa 2 — the much-tardy sequel of 1997 comedy flick featuring Salman Khan as lead. The sequel, yet again directed by David, features the director’s spawn Varun in a dual role.
Tapsee speaks, “I am completely looking onward to this change of mood in my profession. I wanted a little bit of dancing and singing in my life. Judwaa 2 will be a variation for me. The humor genre will be a pause from what I have lined up. I wanted to feel like a usual Bollywood heroine for an alteration.”
Taapsee had begun her career in Bollywood with the remake of Sai Paranjpye’s classic comedy movie Chashme Buddoor that was directed by David Dhawan. Tickled at that joyful trot down memory path Taapsee speaks, “David sir was one of my favorite directors from my childhood. And it was my virtuous fortune that I started my profession in Bollywood with his Chashme Buddoor. I dance like crazy on the tunes of Judwaa. It has been 3 years as Chashme Buddoor and individuals need to see yet alternative side of me.”
The 29-year-old actress was talking at the red carpet of Lux Golden Rose Awards. When inquired about the prominence of awards in her career, Taapsee told, “Awards don’t describe how good an actor you are, but it is like an assertion of people who consider your good.” The year 2016 has been a game changer for Taapsee, who mesmerized the audience and opponents with her performance in emotive thriller “Pink,” but the actress solicits to differ.
“For some people, Pink might have been my third movie but it was my 21st (she has worked in south). Bollywood audience has initiated taking notice of me currently. That is the only variance. In my private life, the way I look at pictures, that hasn’t altered,” she said.
