Mumbai: The Tamil Nadu Movie Producers’ Council (TFPC) today informed the Madras High Court that it has canceled the suspension of actor Vishal on the base of an apology note submitted by him over his unproven remarks in a Tamil magazine against the film body.
When the petition filed by the actor against a solo judge’s order came up today earlier the first bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice M. Sundar, the lawyer representing the TFPC informed the high court that Vishal’s suspension has been revoked At February 2 meeting of the Executive Board.
A copy of the resolution approved by the committee, declaring that the suspension was revoked on the basis of his apology letter was produced before the court.
Recording the similar, the bench said the plea stands infructuous and discharged it.

He had moved the high court challenging the order of his suspension to give out by the Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Meeting on November 14, 2016.
At the civil suit filed by Vishal came up before the justice, he ruled against the artist.
Vishal then filed a petition challenging the single judge’s order stating that he had erred in making observations on the qualities of the suit itself without hearing him on the merits of the case.
He was temporarily put off by the Council for his alleged comments in a Tamil magazine against the film body previous year.
Then, the producer’s council put off the membership of the actor for a period of three months.
