S.S.Rajamouli says that he is still trying to find out how the Baahubali trailer leak happened.
In an effort to generate hype for the next film Baahubali — The Conclusion, a special trailer launch for the film was held in Hyderabad on yesterday morning.
Yet, the release had ended up becoming a dud, as the movie trailer was leaked online much previously in the morning. This had forced the filmmakers to release it to the rest of the viewer’s ahead of time on social media.
The release of the movie trailer in 4 languages — Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi — was originally planned on Thursday @ 5 pm for the public, after a special screening in both Hyderabad and Mumbai.
“But the filmmakers had to do specific damage control afore the video had begun spreading broadly. So, in a rush, they had released all the 4 trailers in the morning,” discloses a source. When enquired about this development, director S.S.Rajamouli said that the fissure was irritating.
Similarly at the venue were members of the movie’s unit and of course, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. The movie’s female leads were conspicuous by their absenteeism.
Rana and Prabhas primarily tried to gap questions about when they would get wedded, but Prabhas finally responded with a smile, “Teledu (don’t know)”. Rana, on the other hand, said that there was still some time.
Rajamouli, who had dedicated closely five years to the movie made it clear that he has no plans for currently and that all he was looking onward to was a break. But he did joke, “One thing is for certain, I would like to stay away from visual effects for some time.”
Speaking about the 2nd part of the franchise, he told, “Not like the first part, which was low on emotions and high on splendor, the second part will have both aspects in equal proportion.” Rajamouli said that he was tense while operational on the trailer, but the output is pleasing.
