Sonakshi Sinha: I will learn the language and dub myself

Actress Sonakshi Sinha says about her career and she doesn’t like hearing someone else’s voice dubbed for her.

The Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha who is playing the role of a journalist in her next upcoming movie, Noor says that during her childhood days she used to read the newspaper to develop the vocabulary, but she doesn’t like reading the newspaper.

From the beginning of her career where she started with an action drama film Dabangg to the latest Akira movie the actress has played many different roles and says that is she is elated with her career and shaped up the career in a right way.

The actress says that within a short span of time, she has played many different roles and the credit goes to the makers of the films. She also adds that she has learned many things through making the mistakes and improved herself.

When asked about her selection of the films which are recently more of female-oriented characters only, Sonakshi said that one should not categorize the characters as female-oriented projects and all the actors who are male or female need to do the projects depending on the content of the story and there is no need to differentiate the characters of male and female.

She also adds, it would be a great time for the actors being able to perform different characters which they want to do, she was enthusiastic to perform action oriented characters and have an immense desire to perform them. The actress also says that the film Noor which navigates through the Mumbai and she was happy that she visited many places in Mumbai, which she had not seen before and she hates to hear someone else voice who does dubbing for her films and she likes listing to her own voice for any of her charters in any language. She also adds that “I will learn the language and dub myself. I dubbed for my film, Lingaa too.”

Sonakshi Sinha next upcoming film, Noor which is an Indian drama film and the story is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz’s novel “Karachi, You’re Killing Me” and the movie is set against the background of Mumbai city, and the movie is going to hit the theaters on April 21, 2017.
