Mumbai: Six people, including three women, have been arrested for an allegedly abducting and selling a 4-year-old girl, a senior police officer said in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The victim was kidnapped from the near her residence in the suburban Mulund on Sunday.
Following the complaint of her family, police has swung into action and has walk off with the accused on Tuesday, the official said.
Sangeeta Mahadev Lagade (40), Dilip Dhuriya (33), Mohd Sahjad Shah (33), Toofan Nishad (33), Mangal Shankar Chandanshive (26) and the Mamata Raj (21) were arrested from the Vartak Nagar in neighbouring Thane when they were about to travel to the Rajasthan to deliver the girl to an unidentified buyer who had agreed to pay them Rs 60,000.
The accused had received an advance of Rs 5,000 from the buyer, the police said.
The girl was reunited with her family, police said, adding that more arrests were likely.
As per an initial investigation, the accused worked in a liquor bar, the official said. Further probe was underway.
