Shahid Kapoor believes that he had bagged the magnum opus just when he was equipped for it.
Though Shahid Kapoor is more than thrilled to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s aspiring venture, Padmavati, the hero trusts that the project dropping on his lap was a stuff of perfect timing.

“I am so happy Padmavati occurred to me now,” he says as he relaxes for a small chat. “I consider that this is a prodigious opportunity that has been conferred upon me. And this is the perfect time for me, I sense, to be capable to put in my finest as well. It is coming to me since I am prepared for it.” Shahid conversely, doesn’t escalate reports that call it a two-hero picture. “In fact, this is a picture in which Deepika Padukone gets to accomplish an eccentric role. Ranveer Singh also has an abundant role, and I also have an impressive role.”
The hero also adds that he was stumped with Bajirao Mastani, SLB’s past outing. “After viewing the magnum opus, I was spoken on Twitter about it simply because the movie was certainly an eccentric work by Sanjay Leela. So I couldn’t repel praising the movie. Likewise, Bajirao was valued by the viewers too and that is indeed the main thing for any director as well as for all others tangled in the movie.”
Padmavati will hint the story of Rani Padmavati, the second wife of Raja Ratan Singh of Mewar, and Allaudin Khilji, who, enamored by her prettiness, wages a war to seizure her. Deepika will be performing the key role of Padmavati, though Shahid will treatise Raja Ratan Singh. Ranveer Singh, who frolicked the hero in Bajirao Mastani, will be the wicked Khilji.
