Sasikala, AIADMK General Secretary was imprisoned for 4 years due to DA case by the SC and was about to surrender today.
Chennai: VK Sasikala, AIADMK General Secretary imprisoned in a disproportionate assets case by the Supreme Court, on 14th February i.e. Tuesday stated her thoughts will endure to remain with the party even from the jail.
“Just I can be jailed, not the care or concern I am having for this party. Wherever I will be, my whole thoughts will be here,” said an emotive Sasikala.
She stated she will be thinking about the AIADMK party round the clock.
She had said that the present case was “filed” by DMK and enquired the party men to powerfully repel it.
Sasikala also said that she was glad in a way that Jayalalithaa was not alive to “look problems,” though she said she was not worried to experience such glitches.
In her address to MLAs hours after her verdict, Sasikala also frazzled the need for staying combined and showed confidence that Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao would ask her party to form the government.
Previously, recently elected AIADMK legislature party leader Edappadi K Palaniswami had come across Rao and wagered claim to form the government.
“For me, to make government, to set up Amma’s commemorative, you should remain combined,” she said.
Sasikala, who had left the resort where party MLAs dedicated to her were put up, said no power can stop away AIADMK from her.
Well ahead, Sasikala visited the Poes Garden residence and told, “dharma will undergo defies but one need to overcome it.”
She retold that wherever she will be; her feelings will be of the party and its followers and asked them to stay bold at this time of crunch.
“I will drive the party even from inside a prison,” she told party followers who had assembled there.
The 62-year-old Sasikala said upon her arrival at the prison, the AIADMK government will be made and that the party labors should strive in this respect.
She advised them not to lose their serenity and stay joint in the interests of the party.
