Harman has been assimilated by South Korean tech giant Samsung value $8 billion.
Samsung has initiated selling Harman International’s customer audio products over its local distribution networks in the home market, stated The Korea Herald. The firm plans to enlarge the distribution in the impending years.
The tech giant has all set to release 40 earphones, speakers, and headphones below Harman Kardon, JBL and AKG brands over 30 Samsung Digital Plaza in South Korea.
A 70-year-old American automotive technology firm, Harman International Industries, which is best identified for audio systems below brand names prevalent with audiophiles like Harman or Kardon and JBL. The firm has now been picked up by South Korean based tech giant Samsung value $8 billion.
Harman’s acquirement by Samsung originates, from what reports advise, to enter into automotive electronics.
The new report has recommended that for now, the korean company is leveling to expand Harman’s operations by starting exclusive Harman shops in the nation, to deliver a better sound experience to customers.
