Samsung Electronics Co had taken out complete-page newspaper advertisements in the US to apologize for its fire-prone Note 7 phones, looking to restore its battered status.
The memorandum from the world’s biggest smartphone maker looked in major magazines, comprising the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today this week.
A representative for the Suwon, South Korea-based Corporation said it hasn’t certain whether to run more ads in other areas.

“At Samsung, we revolutionize to carry breakthrough skills that improve people’s lives,” Gregory Lee, leader of Samsung Electronics North America, transcribed in the note to clients.
“An imperative tenet of our task is to deliver best-in-class safety and superiority. Freshly we fell short on this ability.
“For this, we are truly apologetic.”
The Note 7, which debuted in August, was slayed off in October after few of the devices trapped fire or exploded, compelling the company to issue memories and issue repayments to clients.
Samsung, the maker of Galaxy smartphones, is fronting harder competition in the US market, the home-based turf of its largest rival Apple Inc, as well as in China where local builders are gaining share with more reasonable devices.
Samsung told on November 5 that about 85 percent of its remembered Galaxy Note 7 smartphones in the US have been substituted.

Samsung has also assured to reveal the reasons for the Note 7’s botch: “A cautious Note 7 examination is underway and the verdicts will be pooled when the analysis is done.
