She will be seen as an Indian girl in her maiden English flick titled Cherubs.
Sakshi Agarwal, the model-turned-actress has captured a Hollywood movie, Cherubs, produced by Chamblee Creations. This is an appreciation to her four-month stint at the admired acting school.
Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Organization at LA, where she learned method performing. She has got the credit of being the former south Indian artist to have taken up this course.
An excited Saakshi states DC, “Though I had already in progress working in films, I wanted to hone my performing skills further. I had heard about The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, which has produced numerous talented artists like Scarlet Johansson and Uma Thurman. Bollywood diva Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan were also alumni of this organization.”

She adds, “My foremost motive to join this course was to know the craft and master it. I was the only girl from Asia from among the ten scholars who were part of the course.
We started by the relaxation technique, where you get the body to neutral before approaching everything. It was a mind-blowing experience and I am confident that this course will make my movies career more meaningful.”
On her Hollywood entry, she utters, “I am excited! I play an Indian girl in the flick. The film is likely to commence in May.” Back home, she is busy wrapping up Jaikira Kuthirai, which has Jeevan in the top.
