RGV called his recent tweets on the eve of Women’s day as ‘unintended insensitive’ and he finally apologized for his tweet.
Ram Gopal Varma is not only famous for his witty movies but also for his controversial statements on Social Media and gets trolled for them. This time he made the entire world get angry with his recent tweet on the event of Women’s day. Politicians and woman organizations also slammed the filmmaker’s insensitive comment. The out-burst led through words like Disgusting, Misogynist, Mad, Psychologically Imbalanced, so on and so forth.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Varma had tweeted, “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.”
Later the film maker went on justifying the intention of his tweet
A women’s organization Ranragini booked a complaint against Verma. This Organization has affiliation with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. To which Verma tweeted that he would file a counter complaint against Ranragini’s allegations. NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad asked him to apologize on his Women’s day comment. Even BJP MLA Ram Kadam cautioned him that he need to apologise otherwise he has to face un-favourable consequences.
RGV finally apologized with his recent tweet calling it ‘unintended insensitive’ tweets. He further said that the apology is meant for those who were got really offended and not for the ones who opposed for publicity or threatened to take law into their hands.
