Rana Daggubati will be seen together with Taapsee Pannu, Atul Kulkarni and Kay Kay Menon in the movie.
The movie is inspired from a confidential mission lead by the Indian Navy, contrary to their Pakistani counterpart in the year 1971 that not much people discern about.
Daggubati’s role in the movie, Arjun Varma, is said to have endured underwater for 18 days throughout the war.
Through the course of working on the movie, the actor had met few real navy officers, who were on board.
The actor was tremendously moved on hearing about their perplexing experience, and certain to write a letter to the President for admitting the Indian armed forces, as they are the silent heroes, whose massive contribution the nation must know around.
The ‘Baahubali‘ actor had said that, “After Ghazi, citizens like me have understood a lot about successful battles that have been struggled by all our armed forces on the limits so as to keep us harmless. As a citizen I did not know about these successful tales and like me there are lots of others who did not know much regarding it, to us it’s a letter to admit these heroes and make sure we know more about these silent heroes and their stories of victory.”
The future movie revives the mystery of what occurred on the night of December 3 and what precisely caused the dipping of the PNS Ghazi.
The trailer of the movie has already garnered great appreciation. It stars Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Taapsee Panu and late veteran actor Om Puri.
