Rana Daggubati had proclaimed his new production project along with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in which he would produce few small Telugu movies.
Rana Daggubati is all fixed to produce a movie with none other than his cousin brother Naga Chaitanya! The owner of the big production house in Tollywood, Suresh Productions, and Son of Suresh Babu, this is not the initial time that he has entered into production department. He has formerly produced a children’s movie titled Bommalata with his associate Prakash Kovelamudi as director, and it had won the National Award.
Previous year, the actor publicized his new production project along with Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar in which he would produce small Telugu movies. “Currently, he is joining his hands with EROS to produce this Naga Chaitanya movie,” says a representative.
“Rana was thought to remake Marathi knockout ‘Poster Boyz’ with Akshay Kumar in Tollywood but as he had innovative differences with the movie’s director Gopi Ganesh, the movie was called off. Chaitanya always had a strong interest in production and moreover administered the production of ‘Oka Laila Kosam’.
Naga Chaitanya was fictional to work with Suresh Productions, but the similar project is currently being produced by Rana. When inquired about the same, Rana didn’t reveal any details but said that he is producing a movie with Chaitanya.
“Yes, it is right and we will give particulars shortly,” says Rana Daggubati. When enquired about his birthday celebrations, he speaks, “No plans. Fair shooting through the day, and dubbing far ahead at night!”
PVP Cinema on 13th December, Tuesday had released the first look of Ghazi, which was acted by Rana. The look was released to match with the hero’s birthday on Wednesday. Directed by Sankalp, the movie is based on the real incidents of the furtive tumbling of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Submarine by killer INS Rajput (D141) through the India-Pakistani War of 1971. Rana is doing a naval officer in the movie, which also consists of Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Taapsee Pannu.
