Enkitta…turns around two persons, who are into painting and erecting signs for the stars.
The cut-out culture, which came into importance in the 80s, with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan supporters always at loggerheads when their matinee idols’ movies were out, is now the core theme of debutant Ramu Chellapa’s movie Enkitte Modhathe.
Featuring Rajaji and Natarajan Subramanian as the leads, the film is based on a real-life case — the murder of a politician, during the publication of these two actors’ films during the late 80s, when the followers were divided over an matter.
Enkitta…turn around around two persons, who are into painting and erecting hoardings for the actors. While Nataraja paints only Rajini movie, Rajaji of Moodar Koodam fame paints only Kamal’s. Sanchitha Shetty and sParvathy Nair play their romantic comforts, respectively.

Speaking at the event, Natraj thanked Soundarya Rajinikanth, for choosing him for the film, when she was heading Eros International, which is generating the movie.
He adds, “After finishing the script, Ramu Chellappa, who was an associate to Pandiraj, met director Sasikumar to fine song it. It was Sasi who said Chellappa to approach me for the character of the Rajini fan since he felt that I would be apt for the character. I want to thank him having trust in me. The film is a commercial venture that loosely deals with relationship, betrayal and so on. The team ideas to hold special screening of Enkitte Modhathe for both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth soon.
