Beginning next academic session, cashless economy and demonetization will be a part of the economics syllabus at Class 12th level.
Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has decided that demonetization and cashless economy topics to be included in schools at the senior secondary level.
RBSE (Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education) will include ‘Cashless Economy’ and ‘Demonetization’ in its Class XII syllabus from the next academic session. RBSE chairman B.L. Choudhary stated that the students will also be taught about ‘mobile wallet structure’ and ‘cashless system’.
Post PM Narendra Modi‘s execution of his demonetization plan and subsequent prominence ongoing cashless, the RBSE decided that these topics should be part of the course curriculum.
Beginning next academic session, cashless economy and demonetization topics will be a part of the economics syllabus at Class XII level. The Chairman of the Rajasthan Education Board, B L Chaudhary stated,”… In the coming academic session, a chapter on cashless transaction shall be included so that students can get information on it.”
After demonetization was applied in November previous year, the Rajasthan Education Board based in Ajmer had announced that it will go cashless too and the process has been completed by now.
Two swipe machines have also been installed using which students can deposit academic fees and pay for documents.
STUDENTS BACK THE DECISION
Garima Sharma, a student feels, “Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has taken the good decision. The new book next year shall have information on demonetization and cashless economy.”
Another student, Himanshu Marothia stated,”We will get to know the reasons behind the demonetization drive and the benefits that it obtained, it’s a good decision.”
