Rajamouli’s Eega and Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu of Gautham Menon’s had received top honours for 2012, Atharintiki Dharedi and Mirchi won big for 2013.
The former Andhra Pradesh’s Nandi Awards of 2012 and 2013 were proclaimed on 1st March evening and Rajamouli was contented about Eega sweeping through the occasion with 9 awards. The Baahubali maker praised everybody from his cast and crew who became winners, laterally with celebrating his own victories in the Best Screenplay Writer and Best Director categories.

However the lead actors in the movie Nani and Samantha didn’t win Nandi for Eega but they were sentenced the Best Actors Male and Female for their blockbuster movie Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu (YMV).
Well-known music composer MM Keeravani won Best Music Director for interpreting music bits for Eega. Sudeep, who frolicked the antagonist in the movie, also took an award for Best Baddie. From the technical section, Senthil Kumar and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao won awards for Best Cinematographer and Best Editor for the movie separately.
