Rajamouli, the top director also applauded his father for delivering two hit movies — Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in just a duo of weeks.
Vijayendra Prasad, the father of legendary director S.S. Rajamouli, is directing the movie Srivalli and the audio launch was made on Monday. The complete family, counting Rajamouli, M.M. Keeravani and few others had attended the audio launch event, with Rajamouli speaking about how his dad made him honored.
“When we were living in Chennai, closely 14 members of our family members lived off because of my dad and Pedananna (Keeravani’s dad), who had worked as ghost writers. We all were waiting to see our dad’s name on a movie’s title cards and lastly it appeared for Janaki Ramudu,” said Rajamouli.
He even shared a small story about a tsunami that his father once said to him. “My father has narrated this story to me about 25 years back but I didn’t apprehend it then. When India was smashed by the tsunami (in 2006), I remembered the story then. His thoughts are very innovative and I feel full of pride of him,” said Rajamouli.
The topmost director also praised his dad for giving out two hit movies — Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in just a pair of weeks. “As a film director, I just want to compete with him. He always finds my mistakes in movies and I haven’t seen his movie, but I know the script. I wish the crew and my father a great victory,” he said.
