Purpose of formation of Telangana has not been served- OU JAC leaders


OU JAC leaders stated that the educated unemployed youth are in terrible straits without employment


Osmania University student JAC leaders who have boarded on a bus yatra with the motto ‘OU To KU’ as part of their scuffle for employment stated that their distress would not stop till all the 2 lakh vacant posts in the government were chock-full.

Their other demands encompassed removal of the contract system and the subcontracting of employment system, and regularization of the services of all the employees employed by the two systems, leeway of the loan facility to all the qualified unemployed youth to start self-employment units and setting up of businesses in all the districts.

Speaking at a press conference, here on this Wednesday, the OU JAC leaders Syed Saleem Pasha and Nijjana Ramesh Mudiraj stated that the very perseverance of the formation of Telangana state has not been served with the carelessness of government in employing for the vacant posts. They stated scores of the educated jobless youth were in dire channels without employment.

They also necessitated the statement of a calendar to fill the posts.

Bhaskar, the TJAC convener who has flagged off the student bus yatra from here said that the TS government should relax the age limit for employment as it had failed to give systematic notifications for the staffing.

He also demanded the establishment of industries in each district outside Hyderabad. The yatra which had started from Hyderabad yesterday went for Nirmal. It would reach Hyderabad on 31st October concluding in a public meeting.

The OU JAC leaders called upon the youth and all the students to attend the meeting on a big scale.
