Priya Naidu is Over the Moon

Priya Naidu, the model and fashion designer is having a dream debut with Baahubali 2, and she has more number of other movies in her kitty also.

Priya Naidu is one of the lucky girls. She is all fixed to make her entrance in Baahubali 2, which is directed by S.S. Rajamouli, where she is performing a supporting character. Priya says “My cousin Siddharth presented my portfolio to Rajamouli sir and they asked me to come for an audition. They probed me to come for the shoot from the very next day itself. I was in surprise that I got nominated for Rajamouli’s movie for my debut. I have no words to say my excitement.”

Recalling her capabilities on the set, Priya speaks, “Yet there were very big characters like Rajamouli, Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah and others, they treated everybody similarly. They provided the script to me in advance, so I was well able and it has been a good going. Rajamouli sir is somebody who likes to do things properly and discerns how to get better performances from the artists.”

While doing Baahubali 2, Priya also got the opportunity to work with one more ace director, Krishna Vamsi. She says “I am doing a minor role in Nakshatram. For this movie too, they tested me first. Krishna Vamsi gives prominence to even the junior artists and that it has been a prodigious learning experience working with him.

These two movies are currently below production. In the interim, the actress has caught more offers. She is playing a vital role in Hunter, casting Avasarala Srinivasa Rao, directed by Naveen Medaram. This girl has also been roped in to perform  a key role in Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari.

Born in Hyderabad and brought up in Bengaluru, Priya Naidu accomplished her course in fashion designing from NIFT, Hyderabad.
