It is a well-known point that the 37 years old actor devoted 5 years of his profession exclusively to ‘Baahubali,’ but what remains strange is that he let go of brand authorizations worth Rs 18 crore that came his way all through the filming of Baahubali.

Prabhas, who has been a proficient name all through India, was approached by the brands extending from shoes to fitness, apparel, and FMCG products, but the hero had held his ground.

In recent times, director SS Rajamouli had expressed his sheer wonder at Prabhas’ assurance to the larger-than-life war drama.

The film-maker had shared that even through the times of financial lows; Prabhas through to stay true to his assurance to ‘Baahubali.’

Rajamouli had said, “Prabhas had almost three consecutive hits and producers been running after him with currency but he simply focused on Baahubali.” But Prabhas had not got his owing payment for Baahubali and having not contracted up other works for 5 years; he was without any money for some days! It was his single-minded emphasis on the picture that he “taught his manager not to mandate anything from producers and take anything they provide.”

While all the other members of the cast managed numerous projects and work, it was Prabhas who curved down works that would deviate his emphasis from ‘Baahubali.’

Admiring Prabhas, Rajamouli said, “The complete movie ‘Baahubali’ was happened because of Prabhas, who being the main actor in the south Indian Film Industry, held in this project and gave 5 years of his life to the movie. I don’t think anyone can get so much tangled in the project with that type of passion, time and assurance.”

The movie has crossed above Rs 1000 crore mark at the international box office through all languages and endures its winning spree through the globe.

Presently, the hero is in the United States for a month-long holiday. The actor has already contracted his next project, yet one larger-than-life big ticket trilingual movie, ‘Saaho.’
