Lucknow: A police case has been recorded against actor Prakash Raj on the complaint stayed by a Lucknow-based public prosecutor for his latest remarks contrary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A Lucknow court well-ordered the registration of FIR on a complaint succumbed before it by a public prosecutor Sardar Parvinder Singh. The case has been registered for 7th October.
Bi-lingual actor Prakash Raj has enthused up a controversy when he interrogated the ‘complete silence’ of the Prime Minister on the killing of journalist Gauri Lankesh.
The actor is reportedly a close friend of the Lankesh family and he stated that the Prime Minister and other frontrunners were acting as if nothing had occurred in spite of their followers on the social media networks having celebrated the murder.
The actor was also cited as saying that the Prime Minister was a better actor than him and he should provide the acting awards he had gained to the PM.
