Panchkula: Honeypreet Insaan, the adopted daughter of sentenced Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is probable to be presented in Haryana’s Panchkula court, on this Wednesday.
She was imprisoned on Tuesday, on the highway nearby Chandigarh along with one more woman. At about 1:00 a.m, she was engaged to the Civil Hospital in Panchkula, for a medical exam.
Previously on Tuesday, reports had appealed that she would capitulate in court after being on the run for above a month.
Honeypreet named Priyanka Taneja, went missing after fierceness broke out in parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi on 25th August following Ram Rahim’s sentence in two rape cases.
The 36 years old has been accused of sedition and trying to aid the Dera Sacha Sauda chief escape after being lead to jail for rape.
The Delhi High Court, on 26th September had banned the transit preemptive bail plea of Insaan.
For nearly 40 days, Haryana Police had been chasing leads on Honeypreet in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
While speaking to a news channel, on this Monday, Honeypreet moderated all allegations enclosed against her claiming that she and her adoptive father, Gurmeet Singh was innocent.
“I wish people to not trust in these hoax reports. Not anything which is being expected of me and my father is true,” she stated.
She also criticised the reports of her provocative riots in Sirsa and in other chunks of Haryana and Punjab.
“I was in the cleaver with papa (Ram Rahim) when he was being taken to jail. We were not even conscious of any unrest. My effort was being monitored, how I could have initiated riots?” she had stated.
