Bengaluru: Cab aggregator Ola on Wednesday have extended its recently launched feature ‘Share Express’ to over 100 routes. The feature will make a ridesharing seamless and more an affordable for customers making Ola Share rides further cheaper by 30 percent, Ola CMO and Head of Categories Raghuvesh Sarup said in a statement here.

“Our latest product feature for shared rides known as Share Express makes Ola Share even more affordable and flexible, with the rides starting as low as Rs 30 for a 4-km ride. The Advanced algorithms match a customer only with others who are travelling on that fixed route,” he said.[asds2]
It runs along with the popular fixed routes of a city and customers whose pickup and drop-off locations coincide with fixed routes can book the ride from the Share icon on their Ola app, he added.
Sarup also said, Ola plans is to extend the feature to over 300 routes in 10 cities in the near future. “With the introduction of ‘Share Express,’ we aim to decongest the busiest routes in our busiest cities, while an ensuring a quicker commute for our users,” he added.
