Tollywood actor Nikhil Siddhartha recent movie Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, is the talk of the town. Having overwhelmed the special effects of demonetisation and recording good box office collections even in the 2nd weekend, the number of theatres running the movie has also gone up and the movie is doing exceptionally well. Overawed by the response, Nikhil speaks that the accomplishment has made him even more assured. “I discerned that I didn’t have to do run off the mincer pictures to bring individuals to the theatres. Currently, that belief has been restored,” he speaks.
When inquired what his plan is going to be hereafter, he is quick to retort, “I will continue to do movies that I believe in since it has been confirmed that when I have faith in a story, the end product is prodigious. I will not negotiate at any cost from now onwards. I think that a story is bigger than something including the hero and heroine. At the end, good film is of extreme priority to me.”
Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada has been received well by the audiences in both the Telugu speaking states, but it is also Nikhil’s first movie which crossed the half-a-million-dollar dent at the US box-office. Nikhil clarifies why it could have operated well. “I am on a high right now! I consider the movie’s biggest USP is that everybody can watch it. Whereas there is a big inflow of students at most of theatres, kids and even elderly people have loved it. The movie isn’t a routing horror entertainment and it has got a love track interlaced in. You don’t have the creepy sound effects and all,” he concludes.
