Narendra Modi’s birthday to be observed as ‘Seva Diwas’ nationwide

On Narendra Modi birthday, he will be at an occasion at the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat on the Narmada river’s Kevadi.


New Delhi: To rejoice the 67th birthday of Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party will witness ‘Seva Diwas’ on Sunday all over the nation with party leaders joining blood donation events, medical camps, and taking part in sanitation drives.

Amit Shah, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief will be in Ranchi, Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister would be at Kirti Nagar in Delhi, Piyush Goyal, Railways Minister in Chennai, and Prakash Javadekar, Human Resource Development Minister in Mumbai, as a part of the party’s plan to rejoice their top leader’s birthday as a ‘day of service’ (Seva Diwas) through the country, a party leader stated.

Ministers and political party leaders will join the events nationally, he said.

On his 67th born day, Narendra Modi will be at an occasion at the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat state on the river Narmada’s Kevadi. He will bestow the Sardar Sarovar Dam to the country.

After the inauguration at the dam place at Kevadia, Modi will move to Sadhu Bet, an island in the Narmada River somewhere a 182-metre tall statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, owed as a ‘Statue of Unity’, and a memorial complex devoted to the nation’s first home minister are coming up.

After that, the prime minister will join the closing ceremonial of ‘Narmada Mahotsav’, and address a meeting at Dabhoi.

He also places the foundation stone for National Tribal Freedom Fighters’ Museum through the event.

Modi would then go to Amreli in Saurashtra where he will join a host of programs and address a public meeting.
