Nagarjuna’s recent movie Om Namo Venkatesaya was recorded as another flop for which the distributors and buyers are looking for compensation.
With Nagarjuna’s newest movie Om Namo Venkatesaya turning out to be the largest disaster thrashing the likes of both Brahmotsavam and Sardaar Gabbar Singh, obviously, there has been a great pressure from the buyers and distributors of the movie over their compensation.
In overseas, the film has experienced a massive loss as the overseas distributor who had invested almost 3.6 Crore said to have lost completely. Moreover, the condition is no different in local market also, as the distributors had suffered a great loss cutting through the regions. When it’s buzzed that the movie producer has assured them of compensating with his next movie that is said to be a bigger movie, distributors are still looking towards Nagarjuna’s assertion or his interference in the matter.
Specified that almost all the film distributors have invested in the picture by taking finance for big interests, they are looking up to Nagarjuna for a skimpy compensation now before producer pay compensation with his next that might take nothing less than a year-and-a-half of time.
It has learned that Nagarjuna has even charged a bomb for the movie i.e. about 8 Crore. And this is definitely big for a devotional movie. So, the distributors of ONV are hopeful that Nagarjuna would step in for them to resolve this issue. Even for the movies Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Brahmotsavam, star heroes Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, also intruded in the issue along with the movie producers and said to have done the settlement for most of the distributors who were hit so badly.
At this moment, the moot question is whether Nagarjuna will do it or not. Let us wait and see.
