Nagarjuna says, for the few who might believe so neither me nor Annapurna studios have a loan from any money to any banks!!
A while back, Tollywood hero Nagarjuna was condemned for being a big debtor to the bank where he had taken many loans to develop his Annapurna studios. It was even stated that the bank had sent a seizure warning notice to his studios. The hero had agreed that he had taken the loan, but starved of that he didn’t recompense them. He formally publicized that he had recently cleared all his bank dues.
Nagarjuna had tweeted “It is real we had taken a loan from banks in order to build new film amenities at Annapurna studios previously. ALL LOANS HAVE BEEN CLEARED EARLIER THIS YEAR (sic).” He also added that “For the few who might believe so neither me nor Annapurna studios be indebted any money to any of the banks!!”
The declaration comes at a time while the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has expelled big currency notes in order to block nation’s black money. Rendering to a representative, Nagarjuna got his share of Rs 750 crore when he was a companion in a TV channel.
As soon as Nimmagadda Prasad, the major shareholder of the channel, vended it to Star India, Nagarjuna got his share amount and was therefore able to clear the bank loans with that money. Allu Aravind and Chiranjeevi are also partners of the same TV channel.
Though, 2016 has been great year for Nagarjuna with his two biggest movie releases Oopiri and Soggade Chinni Nayana becoming big knockouts at the box office. He has two other projects like Bangarraju and Om Namo Venkatesaya in his pot. The actor is presently shooting for Om Namo Venkatesaya. Both these movies are scheduled to be out in theatres round the world in 2017.
