Shami is confident that the group of four with him, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah should be competent to perform as a unit.

“Actually, two years is a lengthy time to be out of ODI group. In these 2 years, I have focused on my power and fitness. I have also functioned on my flaws. I have got thinner. I am confident that I can do well in the future Champions Trophy. I wish to give my best,” Shami said after being called in the Champions Trophy group.
Shami who is playing for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL feels that IPL will be great match practice in the tune up to the pavilion event.
“IPL is a great platform for me in which I will be receiving 8-10 matches before going to the international competition.”
Delhi Daredevils skipper Zaheer Khan’s presence has been of good help as his visions aided Shami to become a good bowler.
“Perceptibly, when you speak to past players, you get valued tips. If you communicate to Zaheer, there is something or the other that appears,” he said.
Shami is confident that the group of four with him, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah should be competent to perform as a unit.
“Our outbreak is one of the finest in the world. We need to aid each other out there in the middle. We would be certainly giving our hundred per cent and the rest of the thing is luck. Looking onward to Champions Trophy,” he concluded.
