Microsoft Surface Phone is in development phase and it may feature many amazing designs for Business Customers
Microsoft-branded smartphone is rumoured to reach the market soon as the tech giant is striving hard to establish itself as the leading hardware company. With the success it has witnessed with its Surface Pro and Surface Book devices, it is in invention spree and now with its Surface Phone. However Microsoft is cautious with its mobile ambitions because it has seen the failure of its relationship with Nokia.
Microsoft new smartphone would feature a new kind of multi-layered phone display, built of tiled panels with a curve at the edge. The curve is intended to draw light away from the gaps, which shows as if the display is one continuous image.
This can resolve one of the main problems with hinged displays, where multiple panels often confuse the User and distracts them by showing multiple objects displayed on screen.
The launch of flexible designed Surface Phone is not revealed for the first time. In the month of January, a different patent filing declared that the designs for a foldable device which looks like a complete blend of the phone and tablet.
A tablet-sized device could be seen in the filing which could be folded onto itself using a hinge, much like the display of a typical smartphone.
The device is said to be in development stage and it is not possibly releasing until late 2018 or 2019.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella told in the last month that the device would be an ultimate choice for many and disclosed that it is in development stage.
On the other hand the company has downgraded Windows 10 Mobile platform fixing to focus on building other new hardware.
Many rumours suggest that the Surface Phone will use Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip and will run a 64-bit version of Windows 10 Mobile.
The Surface Phone can establish connections to an external keyboard, mouse and display and can run many desktop applications like Office 2016 or Adobe Photoshop which can be beneficial for Businesses.
