Mercedes W222 S-class facelift is probably to unveil with some new engine options and styling tweaks

Mercedes-Benz S-class is in line for refreshing after the four years of its introduction and likely to make its global come out in upcoming months. Internet has been appearing with the images of updated W222 S-class with the some information regarding the engines and tech which the car will be featuring.

The old version comes with ORM’S with turn on lights along with multi-spoke alloy wheels and a chrome strip along the lower end of the car. The car is completely unchanged in the rare profile.

The new car exteriors to get subtle tweaks as the form of revised front grille with new component inside LED headlamp cluster along with a new front bumper that is featuring an air dam which runs across its width, garnished with chrome. It also gets new alloy wheels, different tail lamp elements and a revised rear bumper with chrome wrapped around its muffler tips. The most noticeable change inside is that its new steering wheel which is wrapped in wood and leather.

The spotted sports car is an ‘S560’ badge and which is powered by a 476hp, 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8. The engine is replaced with S550 and in spite of being smaller capacity than the 4.7-litre V8 and it is 27hp more powerful which is likely to be 12 percent more efficient. The suggestions give that the updated S-class will be appearing with completely four new engines.

Mercedes car is equipping with some advanced autonomous capabilities and includes newly developed Active Distance function that provides fully autonomous acceleration and braking over a preset route on its sat nav that works in tandem with its Active Speed Limit Assist system.
