Kriti Sanon is having some time of her life shooting in Lucknow and traveling the city.
This Diwali, Kriti Sanon won’t be at home in Delhi. She has been shooting in Lucknow from the past few weeks, for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s movie Bareilly Ki Barfi. “We will be shooting in Bareilly as well,” declares heroine.

“The name does have importance to my appeal, and that is all I can say now. What I can share with you is that we are guzzling here in Lucknow on kebabs and jalebis,” she says when inquired if she is performing the label role.
Kriti doesn’t have to concern about her weight. “The movie requires me to look a positive way. So, I am being fortified to mess myself with typically forbidden food. It can’t get any enhanced for me,” she said.
And it is not the food itself. The heroine is having some time of her life shooting in Lucknow and traveling the city. “I have never gone to Lucknow formerly. We are shooting in the core of the city — in the gullis, mohallas and bylanes. It is all a fresh experience for me, and I love it,” she says, by adding that still this is not her first time performing a small-town girl, the character is diverse from her Heropanti appeal.
“My role in that picture was cultured in a cosmopolitan atmosphere, so she was not a small-town teenager in her viewpoint,” she notifies.
Kriti also encountered a lot of inhabitants in UP to know their accents and gestures as part of her investigation. “I have kept the accent to a least. You will find the elder generation talking Hindi with a precise accent. The younger group, not so much,” she says.
This is Kriti’s first time working with a lady director. “I see no change in the working flair of Ashwini and my other film directors,” adds the heroine.
