Intelligence agencies doubtful that the ISIS audio has been spread amid the public with the intention of creating a communal divide.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala state police and intelligence agencies are on their toes as a sequence of publically sensitive audio clips in Malayalam under the tag of the so-called Islamic State is scattering rampantly over Whatsapp.
The state police intelligence arm had already warned central agencies like the National Investigation Agency, and exertions are on to hint the exact source of the audio clips that plea for struggling for the IS.

The most recent audio file said to be the 50th of a sequence, seeks human resources and financial backing and even desires massacres at religious occasions, including a popular happening in central Kerala.
It also criticizes the trust and customs of other religions. The initial assessment of the police is that the basis of the audio is somewhere in the United Arab Emirates, and the opinion in the latest that of Kasargod native Abdul Rashid Abdullah who allegedly joined the IS.
“We are well aware of the concern and completely working on countering it. We previously got information concerning the 50 audio clips and trying to trace its cause. The file currently in circulation is created newly as it has reference to previous month’s Las Vegas shootout also,” a senior police official told media.
In the meantime, police sources said as the ISIS audio message is in a file format and being spread using messaging podia like Whatsapp and Telegram it was closely impossible to avoid its spread owing to end to end encryption.
