KCR alleged Opposition parties of insulting TRS government in the state for not giving jobs to youth.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao came out in the backing of the Narendra Modi government on the joblessness issue in the Legislative Assembly on this Friday.
He alleged Opposition parties of insulting the TRS government in the state and the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for not giving jobs to youth as assured in the 2014 elections.
The Chief Minister, KCR said the Opposition parties were distorted students by appealing that the TRS and BJP had assured to provide government jobs but unsuccessful to do so even after 3 years of tenure.
No more hiring on contract, KCR vows in Assembly
“It is not probable for any government to give government jobs to all. Jobs mean jobs in both the government and private sectors. But they are insulting the TRS government and Modi government by appealing that we assured government jobs to all,” he stated.
He proclaimed that there will not be any contract/ outsourcing staffing by the Telangana state government, which would hereafter give out only permanent employment. He said past TDP and Congress governments had fortified the contract/outsourcing system from 1996 and exploited some thousands of employees by paying meager salaries even though they had two eras of work experience and carried results on par with regular employees.
“When the Telangana State government is vexing to regularise their facilities and pay them salaries on par with regular staff, the Opposition parties are trooping cases in courts and obstructing their regularization. In order to overcome this, we have newly increased their salaries without waiting for regularisation to be completed,” he said.
Following a proposal by MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, the CM had assured the House that the government will put on quotas meant for BCs, SCs, STs and minorities. “We will make sure that all reservations are firmly implemented through regularisation,” the CM stated.
