Katrina Kaif, the ‘Jagga Jasoos’ star made clear about how Salman has been a persistent mentor in her life.
New Delhi: Yet they are together or not, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan have always been very special for each other.
Through a recent interview, Katrina, who will be sharing screen space soon with Salman Khan, made clear about how Sallu bhai has been a persistent mentor in her life.
Katrina Kaif says ”We all know that Salman Khan has the gentle of heart that loves to aid people. But for me, the maximum strength that he was to me was that he didn’t try to make things completely different for me, he motivated me every single moment to stand up, to find out my own feet and work hard.”
On being enquired further about the preeminent and worst moments she shared with Salman, she chuckled it off saying that there should be a distinct show for it.
Yet, the ‘Jagga Jasoos’ actress later shared a tale, where she had Dabangg Khan as her pillar of strength all through her early stages in Bollywood.
She says “Salman always had a lot of trust in me. I was to be a chunk of the movie ‘ Saaya’. The director was Anurag Basu, John Abraham was the lead and I was the heroine in the movie. I was called one night for the shooting. It was a silent shot that too I was frolicking a ghost role. It was a fleeting shot. After shooting for 2days, I was told I am out. When I go out of the room, I just started crying, I was just bawling my eyes out.”
Saying, “I met Salman and I kept on weeping, and he is just laughing like anything. I am thinking my career is done and I have been chuckled out from my first movie and it is the end of my life and he is laughing? He just gave in and pleased me down saying, you don’t know, this doesn’t mean the whole thing. I know where you are going from here, these things occur, I don’t have a solution but these things occur, you’ll see. Just have your focus and just work hard.”
The shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar directed movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is on and the film will release in the month of December, this year.
