Hyderabad: The convocation of the Scholars of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad, which is due for last three years, may be held in April, but students are facing issues while applying for their original degrees certificates online.
The JNTU-H had out a notification on February 23 on the subject of the convocation and informed the students that they could apply online for their documents by paying Rs 600.
People who tried to apply for the certificates held that the website was directing to a pre-convocation mode for which the charge was Rs 2,900.

The previous student S. Vuppala who is waiting for the convocation to take his certificates whispered, “As JNTU-H is conducting its convocation after three years most scholars are not even alert of it. The university must provide some more time to apply.”

MTech student T. Surender whispered, “The University has talked about a deadline of March 17 but there are problems in the mode of the fee with the server. The university needs to fix this to prevent last minute burden on the students.”
Asked about the problems, Dr. B. Anjaneya Prasad JNTU-H director of evaluation said, “Students should have keyed in their provisional certificates number for the reason that of which they are being directed to the pre-convocation method,” Prasad said.
