India to tour West Indies for 5 ODIs and a T20 after Champions Trophy

India previously explored the Caribbean islands in the year 2016 for a four-match Test series that was accomplished by Virat Kohli’s side 2-0.

New Delhi: India will start a 17-day trip of the West Indies succeeding month with five one-day matches and one Twenty20 matches, the cricket boards of both nations confirmed Tuesday.

The ODI games will be frolicked at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Sabina Park in Jamaica. The single T20 is planned for 9th July at Sabina Park.

“BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have confirmed India’s trip to the West Indies beginning 23rd June, 2017,” the BCCI stated in a declaration.

India previously had toured the Caribbean islands in the year 2016 for a four-match Test series that was accomplished by Virat Kohli’s side 2-0.

India’s cricket board had dropped a $42 million indemnities claim contrary to the West Indies over a reckless tour in 2014.

Schedule:

June 23 – 1st ODI at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago.

June 25 – 2nd ODI at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago.

June 30 – 3rd ODI at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.

July 2 – 4th ODI at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.

July 6 – 5th ODI at Sabina Park in Jamaica.

July 9 – Only T20I at Sabina Park in Jamaica.
